Access Center

We can perform many dialysis access services safely in our Access Center without the hassle or delay of going to the hospital. We can perform tunneled catheter insertions, removals, fistulograms, thrombectomies, and venograms. These procedures can even be done on the same day as dialysis, or a non-dialysis day, whatever is convenient for you. Most of these procedures can be performed in less than two hours from the time you walk in the door, until the time you leave. We provide light to moderate sedation for pain control and to ease anxiety. You will be monitored by our team or Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants throughout your stay.

What is a fistulogram?

If your dialysis access is not working as expected, a fistulogram may be performed. This is an x-ray of your dialysis access, using a special contrast.

What is an aortogram?

An aortogram is a procedure which uses contrast to visualize your blood vessels to find narrowing or blockages.

Deep vein thrombosis, also known as DVT refers to the formation of a thrombus in a deep vein in the leg. A thrombus is a blood clot. Deep vein thrombosis tends to occur in leg veins.
