Aortic aneurysm repair involves the removal or exclusion of a dilated (enlarged) portion of the aorta, replaced by a woven or knitted Dacron graft to continue uninterrupted blood flow through the aorta and all branch vessels.

Carotid Endarterectomy is a surgical procedure used to prevent stroke, by correcting stenosis (narrowing) in the common carotid artery. Endarterectomy is the removal of material on the inside (end-) of an artery.
